1. Who we are

This policy covers Ytmp3, the free web tool for keeping YouTube videos as MP3 or MP4 files. Whenever it says “we”, it means the Ytmp3 service. Our email address is contact@ytmp3.pics.

2. The link you paste

Your browser sends the link to our server, which reads the video ID from it and asks a partner service which formats are on offer. The link is used for that one lookup only.

3. Files and history

No record of your links, your files or your downloads is stored by us. There are no accounts, so there is no profile either. The download links you see exist only in your open page and stop working after a few hours.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download.

5. Hosting and technical data

The companies that host and deliver our pages can briefly handle technical details, for example the IP address and browser a request comes from, to serve the site and keep it safe from attacks.

6. Images and files from other servers

Preview pictures come straight from YouTube's image servers, and the files you save come straight from YouTube's video servers, so YouTube can see your browser asking for them. Your files never pass through our server.

7. Emails you send us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We do not add you to any mailing list and we delete messages we no longer need.

8. Children

Ytmp3 is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

9. Your rights

Write to us to find out which details about you we have, to get them corrected or removed, or with any other question about privacy. We store almost nothing, so the answer is usually short, but you will always get one.

10. Changes to this policy

If Ytmp3 changes, this text may change with it. Check the “Last updated” date above to see when it was last revised.
